Just saw this article and it got me thinking. We all know fiber is important, but can gummies actually help us cut back on ultraprocessed foods? I mean, they're still processed, right? Would love to hear everyone's take on this!

Haha, I was literally about to post this! I think the article's tip is more about adding fiber to your diet to feel fuller and crave less processed junk. But the ironies is that the gummies themselves might be considered ultraprocessed. I guess it's a balancing act. Personally, I prefer getting fiber from whole foods like oats and beans, but gummies are way easier to remember.

Okay, but let's not forget that not all fiber gummies are created equal. I've seen some with tons of added sugar and artificial stuff. My go-to is a brand that uses organic tapioca fiber and no sugar alcohols. But the real hack is pairing them with a whole-food diet. They're a supplement, not a replacement. Also, drink lots of water, or you'll regret it 😅

As a grandma, I worry about my grandkids eating too many gummy vitamins. They think they're candy! I remember when we didn't have all these processed things. I've started making my own psyllium husk smoothies - much better than those gummies. But I understand they're convenient. I just wish the article had stressed more about cooking from scratch.

Great points, everyone! I think the consensus is: fiber gummies can be a helpful tool, but they shouldn't be the only source of fiber. And definitely check the label for hidden junk. Let's all aim for a rainbow of veggies and fruits, and maybe a gummy or two if we're short. Balance, right? 😉
