Traveling with Vitamin C Gummies – Do They Melt?
Hey everyone, I'm heading on a long road trip next week and I want to bring my Vitamin C gummies, but I'm worried they might melt in the car. Also, do airport security care about them? Any tips for storing them during travel? Thanks!
I've taken gummies on planes a bunch of times. TSA doesn't care, they're not liquids. Just keep them in the original container to avoid questions. As for melting, they'll survive most car trips unless it's like 100°F+ and they're in direct sun. I'd just toss them in a cooler or insulated bag if you're worried. Safe travels!
I second the original container thing. And if you're hiking, put them in a ziplock with a desiccant pack if you have one. They might get a bit squishy in heat but they won't turn into liquid. I've had them flatten out but they still worked. Just enjoy the journey!
Great tips! I'd add: if you're flying, you can pack them in your carry-on AND checked bag – just in case. I once had a gummy jar split open in my suitcase (not fun). So use a sturdy container. And humidity is the enemy – keep them dry. Have a wonderful trip! 🌿✨
Awesome, thanks everyone! I'll keep them in the original jar and maybe wrap it in a sock in my backpack to cushion them. Good call on the cooler too. Appreciate the advice!
